Chaplaincy from a distance

Chaplaincy at Canterbury Christ Church

Welcome

Welcome to our new resource pages. In these challenging times when we are unable to gather together, the chaplaincy is still here to offer support and guidance to all those who wish to engage. Each week we will look to add new materials, prayers, blogs and videos to guide you through this time of exile

Prayer and faith support

Prayer

For over 50 years the Chaplaincy has been praying daily for Canterbury Christ Church University, blessing the buildings and supporting the community as it goes about its daily life.

We believe in the power of prayer and are happy to pray and share our prayer times with others. Currently we are saying prayers at home and joining with others on line. let us know if you would appreciate a call or if you have found some good resources we could all share

Faith Support

As experienced Chaplains with decades of ministry between us we are no strangers to the arena of faith and belief, whether that be in walking alongside others as they explore their own faith journeys, or offering advice from a Christian perspective.

As people with a distinct belief we recognise the value of sharing our faith with others and helping people make connections with their own faith tradition. We are, of course, always happy to discuss your own faith with you, and we have oversight of all the religious groups within the University as well maintaining the meditation rooms, quiet spaces and prayer rooms.
