As a University with a Christian foundation, the work of the Chaplaincy is core to the life of the University. The Chaplaincy offers a safe space where any student can bring and discuss their problems in a non-judgmental environment.
No matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe, the Chaplaincy are here for you. Whatever your faith – or even if you have no faith at all – if you need to talk, the Chaplains are ready to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. If you based at the Medway Campus and would either like a general chat or some advice, you can contact Lynne Martin via the contact details below.
My name is Lynne Martin and I have been working as a part-time Associate Chaplain for the University of Greenwich, Medway Campus, since early 2011. On January 9th 2017 I’ve taken on the full-time role of Medway Campus Chaplain, as an interim arrangement.
I started working with university students in January 2004 and, over the past 13 years, have rubbed shoulders with people from more than 60 of the world’s nations.
I am passionate about students not simply surviving but thriving during their time here at Medway and am open to helping in that process in whatever ways I can. As a Christian, my faith is integral to who I am and the way in which I approach life. However, as a person who cares deeply about the well-being of our students and staff, please be assured that my door is open to ALL, of any faith or none.
I love coffee, colour and food, and I’m interested in people’s stories. If you see me around campus please stop and say hello
